This year’s extended Reading Children’s Festival celebrates it’s 21st anniversary with three weeks of events and activities for young people all over the Borough.
Many events are free of charge and offer great fun for all the family.
Highlights include:
- Meadow Madness, Christchurch Meadows, Caversham
Saturday 15 May, 11am – 4pm
The launch event of the ever popular Reading Children’s Festival.
- Reading Community Carnival, Prospect Park, Liebenrood Road, Reading
Monday 31 May, 12noon – 8pm
The sounds and sights of the Caribbean come to Prospect Park and the streets of West Reading.
- Town Centre Day,
Friday 4 June, 11am – 4pm
The BIG half term event of Children’s Festival in the Town Centre,
- The Reading Dance Showcase, Rivermead Leisure Complex
Sunday 6 June, 10am – 6pm
Dance International presents an extravaganza of dance styles taught in and around Reading. Watch a full day of performances from local dance schools and clubs.
